SCU Money Minute
Lost Your Card? Don't Panic.
Reached for your wallet and don't see your card? Before assuming the worst, you may be able to temporarily lock your card while you look for it.
For your SCU membercard®, Lock'N'Block® in our mobile app and online banking lets you temporarily lock your card if it's been misplaced. Maybe it's in another pocket, left in your vehicle, or sitting somewhere at home. If you find it, simply unlock it through the app and continue using it as normal.
Collabria credit cardholders have a similar option. Through CardWise Mobile, you can temporarily lock your Collabria credit card if you can't find it and unlock it again when it's safely back in your hands.
These features are especially helpful when our branches are closed. If you notice a card is missing in the evening or on the weekend, you can take action right away while you figure out where it went.
If your card turns out to be lost or stolen rather than simply misplaced, make sure to report it as soon as possible.
